From the M5: Exit at Junction 27 (Tiverton) and take the A361 towards Barnstaple. At the roundabout on the outskirts of Barnstaple turn left and follow signs for Bideford and Bude. Continue on this road (which becomes the A39) going straight on at all roundabouts following signs for Bude, Clovelly and Hartland. After approximately 13 miles you’ll reach the Clovelly roundabout. Continue straight ahead and take the next right turning signposted to Hartland. This road will lead you straight into the village of Hartland. Continue through the village following signs to Stoke and Hartland Quay. Approximately 1.5 miles outside the village you’ll see a turning on your right directing you to the entrance of Hartland Abbey. From the A39 (coming from Bude direction): Take the left turning off of the A39 at Baxworthy Corner. Follow signs into the village, and turn left into the main street. Continue through the village following signs to Stoke and Hartland Quay Approximately 1.5 miles outside the village you’ll see a turning on your right directing you to the entrance of Hartland Abbey.
